Who is this engagement for?
Transit CEO Advisory is designed for incoming and newly appointed transit CEOs, particularly during their first 12–18 months. It provides direct access to Frank White III’s experience and judgment as a former transit CEO—helping you understand what you’ve inherited, navigate board and political relationships, build your leadership team, and make consequential decisions with greater clarity.
What does the D.C. immersion include?
The Washington Executive Immersion helps you understand how Washington works and how to advance your agency’s federal priorities. It includes executive briefings, preparation for federal engagement, thoughtfully selected meeting opportunities, and follow-through tied to your agency’s needs. We coordinate with your existing government-relations team where appropriate. The agenda is tailored to you; meetings with specific officials depend on availability.
Is travel included in the $7,000/month?
The D.C. immersion is part of the advisory engagement. Specific airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation inclusions are detailed in your engagement agreement.
How do advisory sessions work?
You meet privately with Frank each week for a 60-minute video session focused on your most important decisions, challenges, and opportunities. The first 90 days provide a guided starting framework, while urgent issues can take priority at any time. Between sessions, you have email and text access for time-sensitive matters within agreed availability, along with relevant intelligence and brief additional calls when warranted.
What kind of deliverables will I receive?
Your engagement includes a tailored first-90-day advisory agenda, agreed leadership priorities, concise follow-up on key decisions and commitments, and relevant executive intelligence. Monthly strategic reviews and quarterly assessments help you evaluate progress and adjust priorities. Written materials support the central value of the relationship: practical, experienced counsel applied to the decisions you face.
How is confidentiality handled?
The relationship operates under written confidentiality terms. Client records have restricted access, and sessions are not recorded or transcribed without prior written agreement. Information is handled with professional discretion, subject to the engagement’s terms and applicable disclosure requirements.
What happens after 12 months?
As the initial engagement approaches its end, we review your progress, current priorities, and the value of continued support. Together, we determine whether to continue the relationship, adjust its scope, or bring it to a close. Any continuation follows the agreed scope and contract terms.
